In version 1.5.53 we've added the ability add tasks through Siri. You can either define these through your Shortcuts app or through the "Add to Siri" button in the "more actions" screen.
In the future we'll add more functionality for this but for now this just works.

Boy Callaars: Can you give a little more detail here? I'm playing around with shortcuts now and I'm not following. Probably user error on my end but I'm excited to start playing with this!
Boy Callaars
Elizabeth Buergler the easiest way is to click on the "Add to Siri" button in the "more" screen as shown below, that will open up a modal (see other screenshot) that adds the shortcut immediately to the Shortcuts app (and also Siri). You can then use "Hey siri, add a task" or simply press the shortcut "Add a task" in the Shortcuts app.
Does that work for you?

Boy Callaars: Am I the only one having a problem with this? When I add the shortcut as instructed here, it appears in the shortcut app as pictured in your example. Then if I click that shortcut manually it will add a task to Sunsama, but if I say the command verbally to Siri it adds the task to the Reminders app, not Sunsama. If I say "add a task to Sunsama" it says it doesn't see an app for that, though it's installed. If I change the name of the shortcut to "add a task to Sunsama" and say that aloud, it simply opens the sunsama app, but doesn't prompt to add an item. Can you help? How do I get this to add a task to Sunsama using a verbal command to Siri? Thanks!

Boy Callaars: this feature is not working. Is there a way to get support to help resolve this as I've tried numerous times and various ways and still it never gets added to Sunsama

I don't think this was ever done yet, but I would definitely love to see this feature!

There is an iOS Shortcut workaround. Build an iOS Shortcut that starts with "Dictate text", and then the next step is emailing the text to the Sunsama email addresses

This please.
I still rely on Apple Reminders app for one reason only: "Siri, remind me to..."
Would love for it to be this fast (e.g. during lunch meetings) and hands-free (e.g. while driving) to add a task to Sunsama.

Plus-one to this; iOS 12 has brought a lot of great touchpoints with the Intents functionality. Would love to see a deeper integration with this.
