Apple Watch app/widget/notifications
Mike O
Boy Callaars, presumably this is well under development already. For me, the principal use case for Apple Watch is to discretely (haptic and without sound) remind me about something which is coming up, i.e. my next meeting. Apple recently added a feature that lets you be notified XX minutes after the start of a meeting; this lets me get the +45 minutes' reminder to start to wrap up.
For Sunsama, the Focus persistent bar REMINDS me of what i'm supposed to be working on. Seeing the timer there freaks me out. I'd rather have the timer going in the background and be notified by haptic/sound cues on my watch:
- 10-, 5-minutes left in the pomodoro/timer
- 10-, 5-minutes left in the scheduled task/event
- break time notifications, especially, 5-, 2-minutes remaining for your break, when I'm away from my computer and phone.
- notifications from Sunny - wow the possibilities here are huge
- reminders about timings for Daily Plan, Daily Shutdown
And I'd really like to be able to LOG A TASK (probably unscheduled) that i'm working on and need to track. (The "+" feature on mobile is easily my most used feature for this).
- If I could dictate this new task in natural language and have it be processed into a task, and
- the timer started for it,
- possibly retroactively to the beginning of the previous hour or half-past (start time)
Ability to INTERACT WITH THE CURRENT ACTIVE from my watch. It might be something I'm doing away from my devices otherwise.
- mark current task as complete
When I mark the current task as complete on my Watch, SHOW THE NEXT TASK in my list and have options to start the timer on it.
Ability to START AN INTERACTION WITH SUNNY from touching a button/complication on Watch.
My firsts. As always, thanks for your consideration,
Mike O.

i would also love to be able to see my list of tasks & start and stop tasks via my watch.
this would be especially helpful for staying off of my phone & for being able to subtly start or stop a task when i'm, for example, in a face-to-face interaction and have belatedly remembered i have forgotten to start or stop tracking a task.

yes this!! I'm a new user and super bummed I can't access it on my watch like I can with similar apps.

I just want a simple "Remind me to..." or "Add ... in Sunsuma" siri integration so that I can quick record tasks to do while I'm away from my phone or computer.

If you can follow something like how be focused go, this app would be my daily friend.

Can we get a status update from a representative? An apple watch app would be very useful for minimizing distractions by staying on task with a glance. Picking up my phone or switching windows on my desktop are actions that open the door for breaking focus.

I would absolutely adore this feature. Sunsama - do you have plans to create an Apple Watch widget?

100% yes, I work in a lab space. My watch is often more accessible than my watch. We need this!

I use an app called Routinery that allows you to create schedules/routines with estimated times for each task in a routine. It’s not too dissimilar from the concept at Sunsama.
I would love to be able to create an ‘unwind’ routine at the end of the day with subtasks and an Apple widget so I can see the estimated time and the timer at the same time and have it guide me through each task.
I essentially would like the timer widget from Sunsama on my Apple Watch. 🙏🏼
