Search ClickUp task

The search bar is missing, which most of the other integrations have. As I have too many tasks in ClickUp, the existing filter & sort functionality can't easily give me what I want.
Alternatively if there can be a text search of the task title at least, then it is sufficient for me since I will know exactly what name I am working with in ClickUp.

I tested Morgen wich has a ClickUp Integration and it's possible to search for tasks directly (and pretty fast). So Sunsama should be able to be the same thing I believe ?
I've played with the ClickUp API to do some custom stuff on my end but I did not found any easy way to search all the tasks. Maybe Morgen, upon syncing ClickUp, creates an index of all tasks ?

I wonder if this is now possible with ClickUp V3.0? It would be a great feature if ClickUp changed the API with the new version.

Brad Hawkins: It's already pulling tasks from clickup, all it needs is a search bar! Pretty sure notion has this right?

This is vital. Clickup integration is functionally useless if you can't sort through your tasks to make a plan

Zane Mccaig ah that said. The new feature by your team on 21st Oct does solve the underlying problem in a different way!:
> Import tasks from integrations by pasting url during task creation (only supported for GitHub and ClickUp).
Now at least I can start in ClickUp, copy the URL, and then paste into Sunsama. So it is now no longer unusable for me, but just an itchy UX.

Unfortunately ClickUp does not yet provide a search API for us to efficiently search for tasks. We may add in a limited frontend search in a future release if the ClickUp team does not release a search API.
