It would be helpful to have a notes section per day and or in general. I have notes or ideas throughout the day that would be helpful to see with the rest of my tasks or daily views. Something that I can just jot notes into!

I'll second that.
For what it's worth, I create a task for this sort of thing currently and just jot notes down in there.
It's not ideal because you can't look at your notes, task list, and calendar sidebar all at once because Sunsama uses a modal that obfuscates everything behind it.
