Make it easier to update all instance of a recurring task
complete

Please let us add or edit a channel in a new or existing repeating task and then automatically apply that channel to all other instances. It is such a pain to have to go through and apply channels each week to all my repeated tasks.
Use cases:
- I create a new task in Sunsama and apply a channel to it. Later, I decide to make that task repeating. The channel I applied when I first created the task should be inherited by all repeats.
- I create a new task in Sunsama and set up a repeat for it. I notice I forgot to add a channel to it when I created it, so I pick any of the instances and apply a channel to it. The channel appears in all the other instances.
- I decide to change the channel for an existing repeating task. The change is applied to all other instances of the the task.
- I create a new task in Sunsama with no repeat and no channel. Later I decide to add a channel. Later, I decide to add a repeat. The channel replicates to all the new instances of the task.
Thanks! Great product!

Thanks to recent improvements, it's now easier than ever to update all instances of a recurring task. Click "Edit task series" in a recurring task and see options to update the frequency (days) and approximate start time of the recurring task series.
If you want to update the task series in some other way, such as its channel, notes, subtasks, title, etc, simply click "update all incomplete instances..." on that newly edited task, and the task series will be updated to reflect those changes.

Should be able to edit days of week, etc. in the manage all recurring tasks. Otherwise I have to delete the task if I want to change the days, etc.

Yes please! It is frustrating to have to "stop" a recurring task just to change a few details and then set it again.
Also, apps like "Tody" & "Sweepy" are great for housework because they handle recurring events with a countdown -- rather than a "Wash Clothes" task being shown 1x Week every Monday, it is set to show 7 days from the last time the task was completed.
If you could overhaul recurring tasks and include this as an option I think it would be powerful!

Updating the schedule

Currently i am unable to update the repeat schedule without canceling and deleting the task. It would be very helpful to be able to update the series information.
Example: If I have a reoccurring task from Monday to Wednesday, It should be easy to update it to Monday to Friday without having to create an entire new task.

Amend recurrence of events within Sunsama.

This would be great! I set up a recurring event within sunsama, but had initially set it to start around 9am, but have since found that more like 3pm fits my flow better, but can't find a way to fix the time frame

Allow me to edit the time of repeating tasks
Sam Gechter
There have been a lot of great improvements to repeating tasks. I like being able to set the order for a set of repeating tasks by setting a time for it. But things change, I edit my routines, and am stuck with old task orders, since I can't edit the time for a repeating task once created - I have to delete and recreate the task. Allowing me to edit the time would allow me to edit an ordered routine of recurring tasks.

Simple Update - change time on repeating tasts

You should be able to change the time on repeating tasks!
At the moment you have to delete the task and remake it to see the repeating task window

Is this suggestion addressed already?
On recurring tasks, we can click "Edit task series" --> click --> "Update all incomplete instances to match this task".

Thanks for the request Robert. I've updated the title to reflect what I think folks will want which is a better/easier way to be prompted to apply changes to all instances. I agree, right now, the workflow is a bit slow!
