With a lot of our tasks, the nature of the task, urgency and relevance is different on "working days" and "off days". But by default, all unfinished tasks roll over to the next day and it then leaves the user to manually sort or snooze tasks to the relevant day.

This manual work and clutter could be avoided if we can define on each task or even on a channel level, which days are relevant for it.

For example, I might want to define that all my "Finance" tasks, or all my "Weekend Chores" should only come up on my weekend (Friday and Saturday for me). If unfinished on Saturday, they should snooze to the next weekend/off day, ie Friday (for me).

Similarly, unfinished work tasks would usually be snoozed to the next working day, Sunday for me (Monday for others).
