Create a linked task with URL after task creation

Right now, you can create an officially "linked" task using the add via URL method. This is nice because the task has an icon that serves as a quick backlink to that URL you pasted in the title.

However, if the task is already created, there's no way to add an official link in this way. It would be great to be able to add the official linked URL to a task after the fact.

+1. I often find myself adding a single link to a task's notes when it'd be great to use a first-class attached link. The task menu in the upper right seems like a natural place to Add or Edit this.

when creating a new task, you can paste links and it does something special to the formatting. is there no way to do that for existing tasks? i know i can put it in the "notes" section but thats different

Hi Kain Shepard I'm afraid there's no way to turn a task into a linked task after it's been created already.

I ended up here after finding how to add URL on created task. I have to delete one and recreate it.

Yeah I find I need this often. We're also unable to modify or remove URLs after the task is created.
