It would be nice if there was a badge on the backlog widget, so that we could easily see how many items are currently there — or just increase visibility on it, such as by integrating it into the left sidebar or board.

Often I add things to the backlog, but then forget there's things there as it doesn't really command much focus in the UI.

I find myself just adding/creating the same task in the future once I need to track it again.
