Add configurable lunch break within working hours
Juhui Min
Hi Sunsama Team,
I’ve been using Sunsama regularly and really appreciate the working hours feature for structuring my day.
I was wondering if there’s a way to define a fixed lunch break within my configured working hours (for example, 12:00–13:00) so that tasks are not scheduled during that time.
If this feature already exists, I would really appreciate it if you could point me to the relevant guide or documentation. If not, I’d love to suggest adding the ability to:
Set a recurring daily lunch break
Automatically exclude that time from task scheduling
Optionally display it as a non-working block in the daily view
This would make daily planning more realistic and reduce manual adjustments.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Juhui Min - For what it's worth, I currently handle this by having a recurring event blocked out on my connected calendar for lunch.
This prevents Sunsama from scheduling tasks during that time.
This works for me because I block out the same time for lunch every day.
That said, if the time I took lunch varied by day, then I would either configure multiple separate recurring events with variable times or I would drag my lunch block around on a given day to match the time I plan on taking lunch as one of the first things I do each morning before planning work.
