Add actual time to calendar events to record when things runs overtime
Alex Burgess
It'd be amazing if we were able to record the actual time for calendar events.
My workplace has a lot of Outlook calendar events they invite us to that almost always go longer than the time they put in the calendar. As I'm not the owner of the event, I can't change the time of it to reflect the actual time it occupied in my calendar.
I'd like to be able to treat the time it's scheduled in the calendar as the 'planned time', and then separately record/input the actual amount of time the meeting took. It's annoying to have to create extra additional tasks to record that time, as it's then split across multiple items and obscures the fact that the meeting went overtime when reviewing retrospectively.
Even if I am the owner of the Outlook event, I'd rather be able to record actual vs planned time of events, as otherwise Outlook sends 'event updates' to all the other people invited to the event which I don't want to do every time a meeting goes overtime

Hey Alex Burgess, this should be possible! You can run the timer on a meeting (so long as it's imported to your task list) and can also manually input actual time on an imported meeting. If you're having any trouble, reach out at support@sunsama.com

Alex Cunningham Thank you for replying to this. Looking at the app on my personal laptop (Mac) I can immediately see that, yes, this is an existing feature. I've been struggling to work out how to do this on my work computer (Windows) so probably a support issue instead, thanks!
