Sorry, we missed a couple weeks of updates with people on vacation, this post covers everything since our September 4 changelog.

Desktop app 3.4.12:

⚠️ The desktop app now needs macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, and 64-bit Windows or Linux. On an older system, keep using Sunsama at app.sunsama.com.

opens it on today, and

opens a specific task. This means a task link saved in Linear, Notion, or an email can open in the app instead of a browser tab. See Linking to Sunsama for how to build these links.
When you add integrations inside the Desktop app you get redirected back to the desktop app when the connection is complete.
The desktop app reconnects by itself after it loses the network. Previously it could get stuck on "Unable to connect" until you restarted it.
Pressing Cmd+Shift+A (quick add) while the app was still starting could put an invisible window over the whole screen and block every click. That no longer happens.
Updated the app to Electron 44.

Improved:

You can now ask Sunny to summarize the work you completed over any date range, like "what did I get done last week?", and narrow it to a single channel.
The time zone picker in Settings has a search box. It suggests your device's time zone and lists common zones first.
Notion pages you edited today now appear in your Daily Shutdown highlights.
In your daily highlights, get credit for commits co-authored by you.
The Jira preview in task details shows the whole issue: formatting, priority, labels, and versions.
The Notion panel lets you browse every database in a workspace, and tells you when it's still loading more.
Importing a task from an integration panel removes it from the panel immediately, instead of after a two-second pause.
Sunny's chat panel can be dragged wider, and each conversation keeps its own draft.
Sunny's voice features only load when you open voice, so no other page touches your microphone.
Most pages load faster, by up to most of a second.
The Toggl integration is now called Toggl Track, to match Toggl's own naming.
Connections to AI apps like ChatGPT and Claude stay signed in for as long as you keep using them, instead of expiring after 30 days.
AI apps connected to Sunsama can now read, post, and edit task comments. If you use a tool allowlist, three tools have shorter names, so you may need to update the allowlist.
The screen for approving an AI app's access to your account now says where your access is going, and warns that an app's name and logo can be faked.
Emails you're subscribed to now have a one-click unsubscribe that works directly from your mail client.

Fixed:

Changing your time zone could time out and leave recurring tasks on the wrong day. It now completes.
Tasks imported from an integration panel no longer reappear in the panel a few seconds later.
Resizing the window no longer makes the Home board jump to a different day.
Hovering over a tall task card no longer scrolls the column out from under your cursor.
Dragging a task no longer fails with an error if the task disappears mid-drag. On phones and tablets, a task you drag to another day is no longer cut off by the column it's moving into.
A timer that runs past midnight keeps counting, and the time after midnight shows on the new day.
A timer that ran for less than a minute now shows its actual span on the calendar.
If you switch the timer to Pomodoro from the menu bar, it stays on Pomodoro instead of reverting to the stopwatch.
Completing a task from its calendar block updates the calendar right away.
The colored stripes and dots on calendar events now fill the whole event, instead of leaving a border of flat color.
iCloud events that list a duration instead of an end time now appear at the right time.
Turning off "Update due date in Todoist" now actually stops imports from changing the due date.
Dragging a Jira issue into your task list works again for Jira accounts that have been connected for a long time.
A broken integration preview now shows one short line instead of a large error panel.
The "Never" section of the backlog loads again, even for tasks with duplicate ordering.
A daily highlight no longer shows its summary twice after a reload. Daily Shutdown durations of 10 hours or more no longer wrap, and a summary that fails to load no longer spins forever.
If you stop Sunny mid-answer and send a new message, the work Sunny had already done is no longer erased.
Sunny no longer replies "Got it" to questions you actually wanted answered, and no longer shows a wall of red error text when Sunsama updates while your tab is open.
Mobile: the day start and end lines follow the calendar when you pinch to zoom, and dragging a task on the mobile calendar no longer crashes the app.
Android: home screen widgets with no data show an empty state you can tap, instead of a made-up day, and the "Add event" home screen shortcut opens instead of crashing.

Autoplan beta:

Autoplan rules now have their own page, where you can view, edit, create, pause, and delete them. When you save a rule while chatting with Sunny, you get a link straight to it.
Sunny now opens beside the Autoplan review with a briefing of the run. From there it can undo any change or start a fresh run.
An Autoplan run with nothing to sort now finishes with a review instead of disappearing, and the review page no longer crashes while your day is still loading.

In-progress:

CalDAV calendar integration: the beta is now open to everyone. To connect Fastmail and other CalDAV calendars, turn it on under Settings → Beta. This round also fixed events that specify a duration instead of an end time.
