Everyone now has their own, private, Sunsama-backed calendar.
This calendar is independent of your existing Google/Microsoft/Apple calendars.
Visualize your tasks on your calendar without polluting your primary Google/Microsoft/Apple calendar
You can create 'regular' calendar events (with some limitations), and schedule your Sunsama tasks to your Sunsama calendar.
The events you create on this calendar are private. They are only visible to you from within your Sunsama workspace.
The primary intent of this calendar is to give you a place to visualize your tasks on your calendar without polluting your regular Google/Outlook/Apple calendar.
Limits of the Sunsama calendar
Your Sunsama-backed calendar is not intended to be used as a full calendar replacement.
You can't:
- Share your Sunsama calendar outside of Sunsama (e.g. with your Google/Microsoft/Apple calendars)
- Invite other people to events on your Sunsama calendar
- Create recurring events on your Sunsama calendar
For full calendaring functionality, you can connect your other existing calendars.
Choosing your default calendar
You can choose which calendar to use as the default when scheduling your tasks, and, separately, which calendar to use as the default when scheduling your calendar events, from your calendar settings page.
We recommend making your Sunsama calendar your default for scheduling tasks, and your primary Google/Microsoft/Apple calendar your default for scheduling events.
When you create regular calendar events, you'll have the option to change the calendar to schedule the event to.
