We're excited to introduce the Daily Wrap.
This has been our big project of 2024, and it's now available in beta.
What's a daily wrap?
A daily wrap is an end of day summary. It highlights the work you did, and gives you a place to reflect on your day.
The magic here is that Sunsama automates the work of generating and summarizing the list of things you worked on each day. This information is pulled in from the tools you connect, without needing to have created tasks for everything already in Sunsama.
How do I use it?
The daily wrap is created as part of the daily shutdown ritual. Once you've enabled the beta (via the beta settings page), all you need to do is enter the daily shutdown ritual when you're ready to wrap up, and Sunsama will take care of generating your daily wrap draft.
You can edit the work you want to highlight, and then publish it. If you work with a team, you can share your daily wrap directly via email, Slack, Teams, or direct link. If you'd rather keep your daily wrap private, you can just publish it in Sunsama. This will give you a succinct historical record you can scroll through via the new Daily Highlights page whenever you need to reflect on what you did in the past.
This should be useful for preparing for weekly 1:1s or performance evaluations.

Sharing feedback
Since this is still in beta, we are eager for feedback. In particular, if you find that your daily wraps are missing key aspects of your day, or aren't doing a good job summarizing your work, please let us know.
Note that a few integrations still aren't supported for auto-generation: Todoist, Apple Calendar, and Notion support will be coming soon.
